At Advanced Disability Supplies, we prioritize customer satisfaction with every purchase. If you are not fully satisfied with your order, please review our return and refund policy below. This policy applies to all purchases made online at https://advanceddisabilitysupplies.com.au.
Cancelling an Order
You may cancel your order if it has not yet been processed and shipped. Please contact us at admin@advanceddisabilitysupplies.com with proof of purchase and identity. If we cannot stop the shipment, you will need to return the items to receive a refund according to our Refund Policy. We may charge a small administrative fee to cover the cancellation process.
Return to Sender
If the carrier cannot deliver your order due to an incomplete address or other issues, a Return-to-Sender Fee will be applied. This fee is equal to the original shipping cost, along with reshipping and redelivery fees. Alternatively, you may choose a refund minus a 25% restocking fee and the Return-to-Sender Fee.
Faulty Items / Warranty / Returns
If you receive a faulty item, we will offer a replacement (subject to availability). If a replacement is unavailable, we will issue a full refund, provided you contact us within 10 calendar days of receiving the item. For more details on product warranty, please refer to the advertisement.
Incorrect Item Shipped
If you receive an incorrect item, contact us within 2 calendar days of delivery to arrange a replacement.
Return Requirements
Products must be returned within 10 calendar days of delivery. All items should be in their original packaging and include all accessories, manuals, and documentation. Please ensure the product is securely repackaged. We recommend registering the return for your protection (at your own expense). All returned goods will be inspected before a replacement is issued. If no fault is found, the return will be at your expense.
Refund Policy
Refunds will be provided as per the Competition and Consumer Act 2010. A refund will be issued if:
- The goods are not of acceptable quality.
- The goods are not fit for their intended purpose.
- The goods do not match the sample provided.
To receive a refund, return the goods within 10 calendar days with:
- Proof of purchase (original order confirmation),
- The goods in original condition with all packaging and manuals,
- Suitable ID to verify your identity as the original purchaser,
- Details of the fault (ensuring it wasn’t caused by misuse).
For online sales, we will issue store credit for refunds. We do not offer returns for change of mind.
PayPal Refunds
In line with PayPal's terms, refunds will incur an additional 25% restocking fee for full or partial refunds, including double orders or pickup reimbursements.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable:
- Consumable items (e.g., batteries),
- Severely damaged or abused items,
- Items with obscured or removed serial numbers,
- Missing accessories (e.g., remotes, cords),
- Hygiene-based products,
- Items purchased by mistake or based on a change of mind.
For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept exchanges on certain products. Rest assured, all our products are new, hygienic, and safe.
Damaged Deliveries
If your product is damaged upon delivery, refuse to accept it and notify us immediately. If you notice damage after delivery, contact us right away, and we will arrange the product's return in accordance with our terms.
Lost Packages, Courier Claims, and Missing Products
Shipping damages or shortages must be reported to both the carrier and us within 5 calendar days. Claims cannot be initiated after this period. We will not ship replacements until the courier investigation is completed. For missing items, report within 2 days of delivery. Products will not be replaced after this time. We may ask for pictures of the packaging and product. Missing items may take 3-5 days to resolve.
Return and Refund Agreement

Cancellation Fees
If you cancel an order before shipment, a non-refundable merchant fee (usually 5% of the order) will apply.
Restocking Fee
A 25% restocking fee applies to all returns or exchanges.
Return Process
All returns must be in 'as new' and unopened condition, with all original packaging and accessories. If the returned item cannot be verified as defective, a restocking fee will apply.
Shipping and Packaging for Returns
You are responsible for the return shipping costs. We recommend insuring your return package, as we are not liable for any damage or loss during shipping.
Warranty and Repairs
Warranty service is provided by the manufacturer or their representative. For defective products, we replace parts, but not repair them. Contact us with your issue details, and we'll assist you.
